Jeremy Filsell, guest organist.
Music at Holy Trinity opens its Nineteenth season! Dr. Filsell has established a concert career as one of a few virtuoso performers on both the piano and organ. As an organist, Jeremy has included posts at Cranleigh School, Ely Cathedral, St. Luke's Chelsea, St. Peter's Eaton Square, the London Oratory School, and Eton College. In 2008, he moved to the USA as Principal Organist at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC, but now directs the music at the historic downtown Baltimore Episcopal Church of Old St. Paul's.

Brenda Brenner, violinist, and Kenneth Huber, pianist
Brenner and Huber team up for an evening of violin/piano favorites: Suite Populaire Espagnole by de Falla, Sonata in B flat, K. 378 of Mozart, and the monumental Franck Sonata. Their last thrillingly acclaimed appearance here was in 1992. Don't miss this rare opportunity!

A TUDOR CHRISTMAS  featuring GUILDSINGERS
Directed by David Rentz, this early music ensemble presents Melieval and Renaissance music for Christmas from the courts of Henry VII and Henry VII, featuring carols and songs from the Fayrfax manuscript and music by John Taverner and William Cornysh.

LESSONS AND CAROLS - THE HOLY TRINITY CHOIR
Dr. Stephen Hamilton conducts the Holy Trinity Choir and soloists in seasonal anthems by Greene, Rutter, Martinson, Mendelssohn, Near, and Sirett, and will lead the congregational singing of the great hymns of Christmas, accompanied by organist Stephen Fraser.

Entitled Calypso!, this concert introduces a rainbow of contemporary American works for voices and instruments, including piano, harp, and percussion. Featured composers include New Yorkers John Musto and Tom Nazziola.

The New Amsterdam Singers - Clara Longstreth, Director
This seventy voice choir presents Madrigals and Chansons of the Renaissance and Beyond replicating the WPA sponsored Madrigal Singer's concert of 1938, with works of Monteverdi, Gesualdo, Lassus, Morley, Weelkes, Poulenc and Debussy.

Dr. Stephen Hamilton conducts the Holy Trinity Choir and soloists in the beloved Faure Requiem during the holiest of liturgies, "The Liturgy of Good Friday."

Espana medieval, a concert of music from medieval Spain, spanning the Twelth to the Fifteenth Centuries, including stunning monophonic tunes from the Llibre vermell de Montserrat and selections from the Cantigas de Santa Maria of Alfonso X of Castile.

Guildsingers presents its second annual afternoon of storytelling and music, featuring Grimm Brothers' tales newly adapted and modernized by New York children's author Adam Gidwitz. The stories will be interspersed with lively medieval and Renaissance catches and songs.Special admission: $10.00 adults and $5.00 for children!

This long established New York City choir presents Morning, Evening, Earth and Sky - featuring works of Brahms, Chavez, Ronald Perera, Kirke Mechem and Robert Dennis.
