Dear People of Holy Trinity,
 

After 32 years in the full time parish ministry and seven of those years at Holy Trinity I am stepping down as rector, effective June 30, 2012. On July 1, I will begin serving Trinity Church, Saugerties, NY, as vicar. Bishop Sisk is supportive of this decision and our Wardens, Jean Geater and Dave Jacobs, are prepared to lead the parish during this time of transition.

I leave with a certain sense of sadness, stepping away from many wonderful people and significant ministries, existing and emerging on the horizon. I have learned a lot during my seven years as rector here and I want to thank everyone who has been supportive of me and my family during that time. My new position will be less demanding, allowing me more time to devote to my family and to help Sarah care for her ailing mother.

In the next three months I will continue to be rector here at Holy Trinity, and will do everything I can to insure a smooth transition. You will be hearing more about the Search Process from the Wardens and Vestry.
