Holy Trinity Young Adults is a monthly space for those in their twenties and thirties to connect, break bread and explore how faith moves us in our everyday lives. We meet once a month for an evening of fellowship and spiritual discussion, usually on Thursday. Each month features a different topic or scripture study for consideration. Dinner is provided.
We are a resolutely queer-inclusive group and affirm the full ministry of queer and trans people. We champion their right - and the right of all marginalized people - to lead, worship and participate in religious life without fear or prejudice. Our programming accordingly reflects these principles.
The next Young Adult session will take place on June 20th. In honor of Pride month, we will be reading Psalm 139 through a queer lens. Psalm 139 is one of the most well-known Psalms, but it isn't read often enough in a way that affirms queerness and other marginalized people, so we're aiming to change that.
We will be meeting at the Rectory and start at 7:30 for dinner and discussion. For more information, please email Eunice and Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org"
All adults in their 20's and 30's are welcome to join us. For more information, please reach out at CHTYoungAdults@holytrinity-nyc.org
