Director of Music & Organist
The Church of the Holy Trinity is undergoing a process of discernment and interviewing for a new Director of Music and Organist. The application window is now closed and the Rector and search committee will be deliberating in the coming weeks and months. Interim musicians will be leading our worship through the end of December 2026, with our hope that a new Director of Music and Organist will begin soon in 2027.

The three-manual and pedal Rieger organ of 55 ranks is placed in a wide but shallow case having five levels of towers. Located in the south transept of the church, the organ surrounds a large stained-glass window without covering it. All pipework is of high-percentage tin, except for the Positif Flûte (oak), the Postif Cornet (25% tin), and the Pédale Bourdon (oak and pine). The Positif Chamade is mounted horizontally inside the case. The grand ravalement of the Pédale extends the range down to AAA and affects all stops in that division. The tonal design of the instrument, built in 1987, was by Anthony Newman, who was organist at the time. Doug Hunt has been the curator of the instrument since its installation in 1987.

11 AM Choral Eucharist
Our 11:00 AM Choral Eucharist includes some of the most beloved sacred choral and organ music known. Our eight-member professional choir is joined by volunteers to sing anthems, motets, chant, and plainsong, as well as lead congregational singing for hymns. Our hymnody comes from the broad Anglican Tradition and also includes spirituals and new music. 6 PM Community Eucharist
Our 6:00 PM Community Eucharist includes acoustic and newly arranged hymns, as well as more contemporary music of praise and celebration. Our 6:00 PM musical ensemble typically includes one or two guitars, a piano, and vocalists. If you are interested in singing or playing with our Sunday night group, please attend one of our services and speak with the music director, the Rev. Calvyn du Toit.
